Live by the Gun ….

Via Otto, looks like innocent Michael Dwyer, the Irishman killed earlier this month in Santa Cruz during the police operation to neutralize the terrorist cell led by Balkan thug Eduardo Rózsa Flores, was also a thug. These weapons in these pictures certainly do not look like paintball guns. (Click over to Otto’s place for the full spread; links to ABI do not work where I am currently surfing.)
And Leonides, in his comment to Otto’s post, makes a good point, one that I alluded to yesterday: The Irish press - for reasons unknown - are being super sympathetic towards him… many folks have their suspicions that certain corporate interests might be playing his role down… I think it’s incumbent on Irish authorities to question the heads of Integrated Risk Management to see what, if any, connection that company has to the opposition in Santa Cruz, and if the company holds any contracts with would-be secessionists.
Also–and this is a holy shit! moment–Juan Carlos Gueder of the Unión Juvenil Cruceñista (the controversial activist wing of the Pro-Santa Cruz Committee) has apparently confessed to supplying Flores with guns, which were to be used to assassinate Santa Cruz prefect Ruben Costas! Costas was to be a “martyr” to the separatist cause (”because he wasn’t doing anything”). (Toot on my own horn moment: Remember who guessed that this was an agent-provocateur operation? That’s right.)
Update: More from La Razón: Gueder confirmed that he was in contact with Achá (a.k.a. “Superman”), who is currently in hiding in the States. The other “Tower” contact, Melgar (a.k.a. “Luke,” or “Luka”–lucre), is reportedly in Argentina. The whereabouts of Boyd and Halvorssen are unknown. (Beni prefect Ernesto Suárez was also reported as being a target of the terrorist cell.)
