More on ‘The Tower’; HRF Involved in Terror Plot?
Apr 30th, 2009 by admin
Two lawyers, Hugo Antonio Achá Melgar and Alejandro Melgar Pereira, have been linked to the Santa Cruz terror cell. They’re being investigated as the financial conduit to the terror group; the origin of the money–which was used to buy guns, explosives, and swanky hotel rooms–remains unknown. What is known, though, is that Achá and Melger–code-named “Superman” and “Luke” (the dark-side version apparently), respectively–were involved in “The Tower,” a business group linked by La Época to the violence and unrest during last year’s recall referendum. Achá is currently in the United States (Miami?). Achá tells El Deber that he had talked to dead terrorist-cell leader Eduardo Rózsa Flores, who was allegedly posing as a journalist, on the telephone from the office of the faux-human-rights-organization Human Rights Foundation.
Tread on the worm and it will turn.
“Luke” should change his moniker to “Darth”, it would suit him better.
BTW, that “Human Rights Foundation” is definitely a fascist front, and any media outlet that takes it at face value is lazy and idiotic. It’s got Alek Boyd in it–the self-”exiled” Venezuelan nutcase who openly fantasizes about pouring molten silver into people’s eyes, and who moaned “Where’s our Pinochet?” at one point.
RE nickname, have you all considered that given Melgar was a money man, perhaps ‘el lucas’ refers to ‘guita’?
I agree with 2MR, it’s very interesting since “luca” is a slang word used in Bolivia to refer to money.
I wonder if you would also present current information where the three alleged witnesses of HRF conections clearly declared that they were tortured, brutalized and forced to sign fake statements made by the prosecutor. So now that the entire case has been uncovered and that the show staged by Morales administration is in the open, some honesty wouldn’t hurt.
